This painting was the result of combining scenes from two photos I had taken in the local countryside. One photo was of the pasture with the church in the distance, and the other was of some grazing sheep just down the road from the church.
Deborah was born in Akron, Ohio, and during her childhood, she spent several years in Northern France and Quebec, Canada. After graduation from Ohio State University with a B.A. in Communications, Deborah lived near Los Angeles, California, where she worked in and around the medical and entertainment fields for more than a dozen years. She has always dabbled in both creative and performing arts. Currently, Deborah lives with her husband on a small horse farm in Maryland. When not riding or involved in horse care, Deborah enjoys translating her love of nature and animals into works of art. (Deborah is pictured with homebred racehorse Spicer Cub.)
